What the generator does
The generator creates the DeCA when there is no consignment note to prepare. You say who you are in the carriage, add the journeys, and the document is issued with its number, its electronic seal and its PDF with a QR code.
- You pick your role.
- You mark whether your company is the contractual consignor or the actual carrier. The document is built from that fact, which is the one the rule asks to identify.
- You add one or more journeys.
- Each journey carries its origin, its destination and its goods. One DeCA can hold the journeys you make at the same time.
- You issue it when it is ready.
- The document receives its series number, its seal and its PDF. You do not have to print it: the phone is enough.
What the DeCA contains
The generator asks for the data in article 6 of Order FOM/2861/2012 and places it on the sheet. You do not have to remember it: the form names every field.
- Who is responsible.
- Contractual consignor and actual carrier, with their name and their tax number.
- What moves, and where.
- Origin, destination, nature and weight of the goods, and the date of carriage.
- What it moves in.
- Tractor and trailer plates, remarks, and the special circulation permit where one applies.

The account has no fee, no document limit and no minimum term. The service is in its trial phase and is free for an indefinite period.

When to use the generator, and when the consignment note
The DeCA and the consignment note can be the same document, but you do not always need the second one.
- If you already make the consignment note in WeCMR.
- The sheet is prepared to be used as a DeCA when it carries the article 6 data and the conditions the rule sets for the case are met. You do not need to issue another document.
- If you only need the control document.
- Use the generator: it creates the DeCA on its own, with no consignment note to pick up or deliver.
- If the carriage is international.
- The DeCA does not apply. What you need is the CMR consignment note or its electronic version, the eCMR.

- Do I need an account to create a DeCA?
- Yes. The account identifies the company that issues the document and keeps its series. Creating the account is free, with your email or with Google.
- How many DeCA can I create for free?
- As many as you need. There is no document limit, no monthly fee and no credit pack.
- Can I create a DeCA without a consignment note?
- Yes. That is what the generator is for: it issues the DeCA on its own, with the journeys you enter.
- Does the generated DeCA carry a QR code?
- Yes. The PDF is issued with its QR code inside, and the code always opens the latest version of the document without asking for an account.
- Does it work for cabotage?
- Yes, for cabotage within Spain. For international carriage the document is the CMR consignment note or the eCMR.
